April and May
The children are having fun in aftercare. We are doing art projects. Some of the children leave their projects at school until they finish them. The older children have learned how to do needle point. On cold or rainy days we stay inside and watch a movie.

 

 
Only a couple of more months until school is over. We have no days off in April. In May we have Friday, May 2 off for a Teacher in Service Day. Club Crusaders will be open. If your child is registered in Club Crusaders there is no cost. If you are not registered in Club Crusaders there is a $25 charge for the day. Lunch is $3. If your child is registered in morning care, 3 day weekly care, or as a drop in there is a charge of $25 for the day and $3 for lunch. Monday, May 26, 2008 is Memorial day the school and Club Crusaders is closed.

FLCS "Science Club"

Pick up a registration form in the front office!

When: On Fridays

Where: Club Crusaders

 The Science Club has started but it is not to late to sign up. The children are having lots of fun. They will meet once a month on a Friday. Some of the project names are Christmas Chemistry, Solar Sensation, Lady Bug Live, Roaring Science Safari, Gem Gem Geology, and Eruptology. Sounds like they are going to have lots of fun. You can pickup registration forms in the fromt office.

 
 

FLCS "Sing and Sign"

 

Where: Club Crusaders

Sing and Sign went well. The children had a great time.

Important dates and information:

  • Friday, May 2, 2008 is a Teacher Record Day. School is closed but Club crusaders is open. if you are registered in Club Crusaders there is no charge. If not there is a charge of $25. Lunch is $3.
  • Monday May 26, 2008 is Memorial Day. School and Club Crusaders is closed.
  • The last day of school is Friday, May 30, 2008.
  • Students will be working on their daily homework assignments in aftercare. Please make sure they are not only completing their work, but understanding it! Please remember to send a snack with your child for aftercare. We do not provide a snack.

Drop In Students- Parents, if you plan on picking your student up after school is out be sure to be on time. If you are 15 minutes late or later your child will be taken to Club Crusader and the staff will mark your child down as a "Drop In" student. You will receive a bill for the amount of time your child was in Aftercare.

School Athletics- If your child is participating on any FLCS team and gets out before you are able to pick them up, they are automatically sent to aftercare and will then be marked as a drop in. If this is a regular thing, it is best to register your child.
