The Spelling Bee took place in our library last Friday. I am pleased to announce that Christofer Burnside came in 1st place from 5th grade, with our very own Lauren Toler coming in 2nd place. I am very proud of both of them.

AR NEWS:

AR is DONE for this year....and all the parents and Ms. Craig AMEN!!!!!!!!!! I am testing the students on STAR reading this week and a report will go home with your child this week.

 Book Exchange: The new book company will be at school to buy back books on June 5 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. This will be the only book exchange for the year.

If you have books that you would like to sell to future students then please make contact with those families. I personally have 3rd grade books available, and the open court 1st grade books.

I have no problem with students bringing in snacks on the last day of school for a type of end of the year party. If you would like to do this, of course its fine with me!

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD BRING THEIR BACK PACKS SO THAT THEY MAY BRING THEIR PERSONAL BELONGINGS FROM THEIR DESKS HOME.

During this chapel all awards will be given out except Honor Roll. The Honor Roll awards will be mailed home to your student along with the IOWA test report.
