AR News: AR is completed for another year! Students will once again have the opportunity this summer to take AR tests. The test that students take during the summer will be divided up over the 4 quarters next year and will go towards their goals. Please encourage your child to continue reading through the summer! If you have any AR books that you would like to donate, please send them in! This helps out those in the future who are unable to purchase books, and it also stocks up our classroom libraries! Step-Up Day: Step-Up Day will take place on Thursday from 8:30-9:30. The 5th grade will be with Ms. Birkett, and she will explain to them everything that is expected of them in middle school. There will also be a Step-Up Day for parents on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in Mrs. Salzer's room (high school hallway, last door on the right). This will be an informational meeting for parents of what to expect next year. Come with your questions! |
Awards Chapel: We will be having our end of the year Awards Chapel on Wednesday, May 28 at 8:15 at New Hope Community Church. All of the awards (except for Honor Roll) will be handed out, so plan for it to be VERY long! Come on out and join us! |

Last Day of School: The 5th grade has been invited to join the 6th and 7th grades on the last day of school as a new middle school step up. We will be going bowling in the morning, having a picnic lunch, and doing team building activities in the afternoon. |
I would just like to thank all parents and students for a wonderful year! the students were great and the parents were extremely supportive! It was an unforgettable year! Have a wonderful summer!! |

Final Report Card: The final report card of the year will be sent home June 11. Along with the report card, Iowa Test scores and Honor Roll certificates for 4th quarter will be sent home. |
