Preparing for College
"Without preparation, opportunity is an empty promise." - Alan Page, Minnesota State Supreme Court Justice and former NFL player
10th Grade

This should be a year of personal growth for your child: spiritual, academic, physical, and mental.

1. Continue to monitor your child's academic progress and community service hours.

2. Update your student resume' or portfolio.

3. Help your child explore areas of interest that might lead to a career choice. This might involve his community service hours or summer job. Introduce your child to professions in his area of interest.

4. Consider including a trip to a favorite college during spring break or in the summer.
